Lovely Song

While nosing around on iTunes I came across "If you see Kay", by The Script.

Excerpt of lyrics:

So if you see kay will you tell her that I love her,
And if you see kay let her know I want her back,
If she listens say I miss her,
Everything about her,
Make sure you say I'm sweet f.a without her,
If you see kay

If you see my friend, doesn't matter where or when, tell me if you see kay
If you see my friend, doesn't matter where or when, tell me if you see kay

  1. I have this on my iPod and noticed the words at the gym a couple of weeks ago. The words are brill.
I'm sure you keep telling Kay you want her back to normal self. Tell her on our behalf too!
Stay positive Rob and Marion. Hang in there.
    Big hugs to all

  2. That lyric gives me goose skin, so to the point, so real.
I can understand that you are missing her, her laughter, her joy, her mimics, her words even her bad temper in the morning.
Let her listen to the song, she will hear it.

  3. Viviane, the risk is that I'll drive the staff crazy. Ran the risk of having a couple of them in tears this afternoon. Hope we don't burn anyone out with the intensity of our emotions.

  4. Dear Rob, Marion,
you won't burn anyone out! There is nothing more "beautiful" than people who CAN show there emotions. It lets us feel how fragile we are, makes us so human and gives some kind of a bond.
Keep up, hope this bond (all your readers together) can bring you a tiny bit of strength and relief.
    Kindly, Viviane

  5. Funny how complete strangers, with no idea of the situation, can put down in words how we are all feeling.
Beautiful words for a beautiful child in a ghastly situatuon.
    Keep fighting little lady.

  6. Rob, I nearly wrote those lyrics to you yesterday. I had it on my iPod yesterday at work. It's a lovely song. Missing you, Rob. My heart aches to be there. Love Ali xxx

  7. I was reading all the comments here - and feeling the hairs on the back of my neck standing up, then looked at the Script's website and look what Mark from the Script says:
.... “The thought of some person somewhere sitting in their apartment putting our music on because they are hurting and we’re the soundtrack to that emotion, whatever is going on in their life. That to me is the greatest power of music. And I cannot get over that they might choose our record. Cause I do that. I sit in a room and pick out a song to articulate my feelings. It floors me every time.”

    Little do they know!
