Kays's need for oxygen has increased. Yesterday and through the night it was more or less a constant 65%. Early this morning it increased to 90% and then reduced back to 85% where it is now. The lung investigation has been cancelled.
Not sure what to say Rob, like everyone following this blog we all feel for you all and we all desperately want some good news. I bet the family you met yesterday had some ups and downs whilst in the ic unit, lets us hope and pray this is a temporary thing. I wish I could give you all a hug Sharon x
My thoughts are with you. I'd rather be there with you as well, but I am back here in familiar rainy Brussels. Saw the kids this morning and threw them out of the car in front of school. Rain plus all the Eurocrat brats having their first day back added to the traffic chaos this morning, so we were a little late.
Apparently in my absence big promises have been made... and Sophie tells me that Isabelle has promised them a Goldfish. All I do is go to Nijmegen for 3 days and discipline starts breaking down. Goldfish now, dog later, exotic snakes after that for all I know. But a fish is a good choice - not just because it doesn't need walking but it gives me a good defence against having to accept a cat. Mind you, a cat would have been a good excuse not to allow a dog... I sense I have to calculate my next move carefully.
